We have been exploring geometric shapes in maths. Today we used drinking straws to make poyhedrans! Here are some pictures taken in class today!

I know of a really good book called The Name of this Book is a Secret
and can we read it after Georges secret key to the universe?
I have it so you could borrow it to read to the class.

It looks like you had fun making polyhedra - lots of different shapes being made! How did you join the straws at the vertices? I have used plasticine (not very successful), blutak (successful but needs a lot) and string (time consuming). Did you use tape?
