I have been a bit slow this week at getting the blog up to date. 

We had the Blog Awards on Monday.  It was really difficult for me to choose because so many people have worked really hard to develop their blog.  I chose Marko and Rosa for the first two prizes because they best fulfilled the learning success criteria.   I chose Kate and James for the next two prizes because  they were both a very close second.  I would like to have given a bloggy toy to everyone…but I would be sewing so much I wouldn’t have time to come to school!

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone and especially to the prize winners.

I still have two toys to finish and I will bring them on Monday.  We will take photos to post then.

Music today with Mary

It was such a lovely surprise to come back to music and see and hear what you had all achieved last term in music, while I was out doing the science class.

I am so impressed with the song that you have  written with Mary.  I am also very pleased to hear that our song has been chosen for the whole school to sing and that it will be performed at the opening  of the art exhibition.

You have all grown so much this year already and we still have almost two terms to go.

I am really looking forward to finishing the portfolio work.  I have an exciting unit on China and the Olympic Games to start next week.  We also have to work out how we are going to use the Wii.

Hope your speeches are going well.  I loved the huge variety of topics…cant wait to hear them.  I’d better get mine written too!
