Parent Class Rep for Room 12 - BCG Initiative

Hi Parents of Room 12

I’m Nicky (Kate, Oliver and Jono’s Mum) and I’ve volunteered to be the parent class rep for Room 12. The role of the class rep is to essentially ensure all families feel welcome and part of the school community. It’s an initiative that’s been driven by the BCG. The BCG realises that the role is probably more needed in the junior school when families are first new to the school.

However even at this ‘late stage’ I’m sure we can probably find a few Year 6 parents who’d be keen to get together for a chat. If you’re willing, please drop me an email and let me know whether your preference would be for catch up over a 9am coffee or a 7pm wine. We can then work on a date to suit [after the holidays].

I’ll also be keeping you up to date with any BCG news. Lesley has kindly allowed me the class blog to communicate with you all, however if you send me your email address, I’ll also send any notices direct to your inbox as well.

And lastly, in case you missed the announcement in the last school newsletter, Western Springs College are hosting a special ‘open tour’ just for Bayfield parents on 11 April at 10am. If interested simply meet us at 10am in the College’s main foyer.
